Penang and Australia: April 2005

Before Srila Narayana Maharaja began his 2005 Summer World Tour, he spent two weeks translating Sri Raya Ramananda Samvad while in Penang, Malaysia. During his stay there, he was able to translate over 180 pages, due to the peaceful environment. While there, he celebrated Rama Navami (Lord Ramacandra's appearance day) with his associates who travel with him.

On April 25th, Srila Narayana Maharaja left for Australia. His hari-katha festival began on April 27th in Murwillumbuh. The Murwillumbuh town's Showgrounds were coverted into a temple, and many local and other devotees are camping there. Other visiting devotees and guests have been accommodated in local devotees' homes. Srila Narayana Maharaja came there on April 27th morning and gave a short talk. He began his lecture series that evening, and for the next 5 nights in Australia he will be speaking on Raya Ramananada Samvad.
